| Marilyn Arsenault
Marilyn Arsenault began training and racing in 2003. Since then, she has emerged as one of Canada’s top female distance runners and is proud to be sponsored by Saucony Canada. In 2009, Marilyn earned spots on two National teams, competed in several International events and earned All-Canadian status running on the University of Victoria’s cross-country and track teams, all at the age of 41. Titles that year also include the Scottish 10km Road Championships, BC Cross-country Championships and the Royal Victoria Half-marathon with a course record of 1:15:39. Most recently, Marilyn won the Masters division at the Carlsbad 5000 in California.
Marilyn methodically improved her running form under the guidance of Malcolm Balk. Using a combination of principles taken from the Alexander Method and the Pose Method, Marilyn devoted a substantial period of time improving her running form and credits a lot of her success as runner to this technical foundation. A sensitive and perceptive teacher with twenty years of teaching experience, Marilyn has developed the ability to help runners at all levels improve their running efficiency.
The clinics are challenging yet fun. No one leaves without feeling a positive difference in their running. Feel the joy of a light, smooth stride and run for a lifetime! | | | |
